Shades of raindrops

Whenever the weather man, or new updates on the how-you-wish-the-weather-to-be.any-website indicates the possibility of rain, people go into an impossible state, a mixture of sadness and panic. And I think this is not just my idea 😛

Given the degree of physical, mental and spiritual pollution that the world has come at, I believe that a healthy bath from mother nature is more than welcome now and then.

3442827f70fe70da5902c490cebc04dcI understand, everything looks gray when it rains; you can not go out on a picnic, or boating on the lake … because, exactly in the weekend in which you set out to do something for you, you have to stay indoors.

I think the problem data would change radically if we use other formulas for enjoying the rain. Yeah, yeah … they say when it rains and you’re at a party the host will have wellfare. Farmers give thanks to the rain, seen as a support for a bountiful harvest. And romantic natures, instead of crying, are listening to the symphony of raindrops whispering to them the genius of creation. So it seems that novels and lyrics are born during this time, to transcend the clouds!

Me, for example, I’ve always liked to draw in rainy weather. It seems then colors combine differently and the picture is much more expressive. Like in the greedy cloud story, I learned that life is a cycle and we need every moment of it to move forward in happiness.

Once upon a time lived on a cloud that was grown up over a very beautiful country. One day, it saw another much bigger cloud and felt so much envy, than the cloud decided that in order to get bigger and grow more, the water would never abandon it, and will never start raining again.

Indeed, the cloud grew up, while the country was getting dried. First, rivers dried up, then people, animals, plants, and finally, the whole country became a desert. The cloud did not care much, just like an egoist doesn’t admit it is hard for him/her to stay stuborn all the time thirsty for financial power. The cloud also did not realize that by being over a desert there was no place where it could obtain new water to keep growing. So slowly, the cloud began to lose size, and was unable to do anything to stop it .

The cloud then realized the mistake, and that the greed and selfishness were the cause of its vanishing; but just before evaporating, when it was just a sigh of cotton, there started blowing a gentle breeze. The cloud was so small and weighed so little that the wind took it far away, to a faraway beautiful country, where once again it recovered its original size.

Having learned this lesson, our cloud remained small and modest, but she became so generous when raining, that her new country became even greener, giving away to all people there the most beautiful rainbow in the world.

In Romania there were rain warnings all across the country. Some people broke their umbrellas facing the storm, others lost their houses because of floods. In stead of complaining about the bad weather, I think we should use the time of chilness to try to help those in nedd, and to be thankfull that after the rain comes the beautifull rainbow and the fruits of the earth are able to grow!
