eading or taking care of a group of people should not be about imposing some bureaucratic rules or about impressing others with your supposed intelligence or superiority.
A person truly influent does not rely to cunnings, doesn’t „shine by making the other blind”, doesn’t „lead through intelligence” and doesn’t inspire fear to those assigned to control.
In fact, then „when they know that they do not know, people find by themselves their way.” In other words, a leader really effective, lead the others toward their true nature.
A leader is best when people barely know he exists. When his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves! Lao Tzu
- Those who know that no meaningful invention has started with a business plan.
- Those who want to train their ability to be themselves in cooperation with others.
- Those who are willing to renegotiate implicit and explicit agreements with themselves and others.
- You learn to trust people in your charge.
- You practice detachment and allow them to think for themselves, because they too have something to accomplish in their own life.
- You learn to demand less and encourage more, allowing people to follow their own path toward their goals.
- If you trust them, they will gain trust in themselves and will learn to count on their own strengths, becoming truly accountable.
- You will notice how it feels like to have very loyal employees or partners, on which you can count on, who love their jobs and who share with you their joy of good wealth and affection.
Take a break and gate away from what worries you, including your responsibilities. Even if it is for 15 minutes, clear your mind, empty the „demands folder” and enjoy the freedom that accompanies a less exigent attitude.
After this break, ensure that everybody in your team, in your working environment will do the same. Take them by their arm and go together for a walk, without doing something special in particular, just enjoy that you are in the middle of the nature.After that let them return to their responsibilities and take care of it in their own rhythm.
